Information we collect

CartPals uses your authenticated email address to operate your account. We collect the profile details you provide, including your name, general location, golf preferences, handicap, availability, profile photo, and matching preferences. We also store rounds, seat requests, matches, messages, safety reports, and feedback you submit.

Location

With your permission, CartPals may use your device location to calculate approximate distance from other golfers and rounds. Other golfers see only your general location and distance—not your precise coordinates or home address.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate users, create profiles, provide matching and messaging, show relevant golfers and rounds, maintain safety, respond to support requests, and operate and improve CartPals.

Sharing and advertising

Your profile information is shown inside the CartPals golf community according to your visibility choices. We do not sell personal information, use it for third-party advertising, or permit cross-app tracking. Service providers may process data only to help us operate CartPals.

Photos, messages, and safety

Photos are stored separately from structured account data. Messages are visible to conversation participants. Safety reports are restricted to authorized review. We may preserve information when required for safety, fraud prevention, or law.

Your choices

You may change profile visibility and location permissions, remove your photo, report or block another user, and delete your account and associated data from the profile menu.

Age requirement

CartPals is intended for adults age 18 and older. Do not include an exact home address, financial information, or sensitive personal information in your profile or messages.
